Hi MoW JV Parents,

We are half-way through the season! Woo hoo!

Thank you for all the great attendance so far this season.  I really do think the hard work is paying off for each of your swimmers.

Looking ahead, a friendly reminder of the Special Olympics Regionals Competition on Saturday, August 29th at the RAFC. As of now, I believe all sessions will begin at 9am (unlike the Swimming Exhibition that had a 9am and a 1pm start time). This means you should plan to arrive around 8:30am.

Like the Swimming Exhibition in July, each swimmer will swim two (2) events, in either the Teaching Pool or the Competition Pool

• Group 1 = swims in the Teaching Pool - the events are the 15-yard swim and the 15-yard kick with a board

• Group 2 = swims in the Competition Pool - the events are the 25-yard Freestyle and the 25-Yard Backstroke

For the most part, your swimmer will be entered in the same events as the Swimming Exhibition last month, with a few exceptions.  Entries are due Friday, so I am going to use tomorrows practice to finalize the exceptions.

Attached are the current entries and times.  There are four swimmers who are entered in the 15-yard races, but I am considering moving them into the 25-yard races.
